    It makes me think, why does the average, Canadian public school continue to cater to neurotypical learners?

    I cried. It’s such a contrast compared to what I encountered at school, and _still_ encounter as a 2E adult in the workplace. My brain is apparently specialized for the problem-solving nature of the work that I do. That said, I frequently encounter linear expectations for social and workplace norms that are hard to understand and conform to. We have a LONG way to go to make societal room for neurodiversity.
